CGA Law Firm Adds Two New Shareholders
Christine Nentwig serves as Co-Chair of CGA’s Labor and Employment Law Group and is also a member of the firm’s Business Law Group. Her practice focuses on the representation of businesses facing complex labor and employment matters in both the private and public sectors. Christine has more than 25 years of combined experience as a labor and employment attorney, both in central Pennsylvania and downtown Chicago, and as a human resource professional with several Fortune 500 organizations.
Prior to joining CGA Law Firm, Christine served as Chair of the Labor and Employment Group at Kegel Kelin Almy & Lord LLP in Lancaster and practiced at two Chicago boutique labor and employment law firms. Christine also has substantial corporate experience, having held labor and employment positions with Armstrong World Industries and Harley-Davidson Motor Company.
Christine graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from York College of Pennsylvania. She earned her Juris Doctorate (JD) from the University of Maryland School of Law and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, which consistently ranks as one of the top 5 business schools in the U.S.
Christine currently serves on the Boards of Leg Up Farm (Board Secretary), United Way of York County, Crispus Attucks, and DreamWrights. She also serves the community through various pro bono and other volunteer efforts and is a member of the York County and the Pennsylvania Bar Associations.
Rebecca is the Chair of the CGA Real Estate Department and is a member of the Business Law Group. Prior to joining CGA Law Firm, she spent twelve years practicing in Chicago with McCarthy Duffy LLP and Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg, LLP; where she strategized and closed complex real estate transactions for REITS and other institutional real estate companies. Rebecca has over 15 years of significant experience in all aspects of real estate and business transactions. Rebecca has negotiated complex transactions across the real estate and business spectrum, including negotiating and drafting office and retail leases on behalf of tenants and landlords, closing commercial real estate sales and acquisitions, negotiating and closing asset purchases, and capital raises. She regularly counsels businesses regarding entity formation, corporate governance, and restructuring. Her goal is to deliver results and create a lasting partnership with her clients.
Rebecca graduated from York Catholic High School. After earning an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, she spent several years as a social worker in Philadelphia. These experiences led her to pursue a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
She currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for Creative York, a non-profit arts center located in downtown York, Pennsylvania, which serves the community through arts education, gallery experiences, and several award-winning outreach programs. Rebecca resides in York with her husband and their two children.
