3D Printing Focus of Event for Teens
Local engineers Lee King and Soji Otuyelu from Resin8 will introduce teens to 3D Printing and discuss its role in various career fields that teens may be considering for post-graduation. The use of 3D Print technology is growing in manufacturing, engineering, healthcare, architecture and the arts. Participants will learn about the skills needed for related jobs. The interactive session also includes an opportunity to partner with other teens to brainstorm how 3D-Printed solutions can be applied to real-life issues.
King and Otuyelu have a combined 24 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, distribution, marketing and education. Through their Resin8 education initiative they are providing hands-on learning opportunities to Central Pennsylvania Students.
Registration is required by September 10. Interested teens should sign for their session time of choice at yorklibraries.org/Resin8-3D. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
