Job Description
The YCEA is looking for a dynamic marketing professional to be an innovative member of the creative team focused on design, photography, and social media for the organization, our members and affiliates.
This individual will be focused on design for marketing collateral materials, event materials, advertisements, social media graphics, and website updates.
The individual must have a strong ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, work independently and prioritize multiple projects with excellent attention to detail.
Most importantly, this individual must be willing to have fun.
 
Job Duties:
Design all graphics for use in marketing materials, social media, and events; including but not limited to collateral materials, giveaway designs, logos, infographics, social media campaigns, and the website.
Photograph events for social media use and craft relevant digital posts.
Optimize and modernize the communication delivery mechanisms to reach targeted audiences with targeted messages.
Act as a creative member of the Marketing Department with fresh, unique ideas and a willingness to collaborate and innovate.
Convey strategic organizational messages in digital or graphic form.
Assist in all brand and marketing collateral development.
Prepare Requests for Proposals and compose well-crafted detailed responses.
Track online media attention and offer expertise on increasing awareness of the organization.
Assist in organizing office functions.
Assist in event logistics and event marketing.
Create e-blasts and other digital communications.
Other duties as assigned.
 
Requirements:
Solid understanding and knowledge of C-Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Experience in designing and creating marketing materials, not limited to logos, infographics, print 
Experience in digital media and marketing.
Knowledge of social media strategies.
Ability to take projects from concept to completion utilizing the appropriate skills
Creative writing skills and demonstrable ability to creatively write and word messages to garner additional traction, understanding and awareness.
Great interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with all levels of personnel
Ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Excellent time management skills
Ability to focus on keen attention to detail
A strong, strategic, messaging and public relations mindset.
Exceptional writing, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to gather information internally from YCEA team colleagues and recognize potential for messaging or communications. Similar capabilities required for external sources.
A good design-eye. The ability to distil projects, accomplishments and messages into visually compelling graphics used for broad communications.
Fun, innovative personality with a willingness to create and try new methods of communication.
BA in Marketing/Communications. 3-5 years of relevant experience.
