Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

Job Description
The Scheduler Planner manages all repair, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities to ensure equipment performance and reliability. The Schedule Planner works closely with Inventory, Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations personnel to identify equipment and process performance gaps. This position leverages MPulse to create, maintain, and report all maintenance activities.
 
Requirements and Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling of regular planned and unplanned maintenance activities on each piece of equipment with a PM completion goal of 100% each month.
  • Work directly with production planning and Operations to schedule or coordinate maintenance downtime.
  • Obtain necessary tools, supplies, and support to perform the various tasks. Pre-kit the items whenever possible.
  • Partnering with Company Training personnel to develop Maintenance Training materials and documents.
  • Partner with Training and Maintenance Supervisors to deliver training to maintenance personnel.
  • Provide accurate estimates of labor, parts, and services for repairs and improvements.
  • Provide input to Management and provide suggestions for improvements in safety and efficiency.
  • Work directly with Inventory personnel to ensure that all scheduled maintenance work has the necessary parts on hand for the task without depleting the storeroom inventory or adding costs above budget.
  • Secure the scheduling of outside resources including utilities on an as needed basis.
  • Manage and schedule inspections, calibrations, validations, preventive maintenance, and services with outside contractors.
  • Oversee equipment installation, modification, and removal.
  • Provide technical specifications as necessary so that outside contractors understand how to service equipment.
