The Project Manager – Strategic Digital Services is responsible for the successful oversight of assigned clients’ performance campaigns and digital projects, serving as the overall gatekeeper and manager of digital targeting, performance tracking and web projects.  This person is the liaison between the client’s team and our internal team, ensuring quality controls, meeting performance objectives, monitoring success, driving innovation and advancing team success.   The Project Manager – Strategic Digital Services manages and oversees all aspects of a project to ensure it is completed on-time, within budget and meeting specific strategies as outlined.  This role has overall responsibility for managing performance strategy, scope, cost, schedule and outside digital vendors/partners to ensure quality of contractual deliverables.  Additionally, the strategic digital project manager will contribute most digital strategy and implementation (in conjunction with the Digital Strategist and senior team), potentially managing all aspects of a client’s digital footprint and performance reporting. The role requires an outside-the-box thinker who can connect the digital dots for an integrated approach to marketing a client’s brand online. This individual combines an in-depth knowledge of client business objectives, online strategies, targeting, comprehensive digital applications and competitive landscape with a rich background in the digital and social marketing industry to deliver effective digital marketing results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain strong relationships with each assigned client; closely align with internal clients to provide top- notch customer service
  • Proactively manage each assigned client’s budget, including monthly/project billing while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data in each budget
  • Manage the completion of all recommended marketing tactics on-time and on-budget
  • Implement precisely targeted campaigns for optimal outcomes, inclusive of managing reporting and performance controls
  • Manage all communication with the client and the Gavin internal team, keeping all parties in the loop
  • Manage communications with internal teams and other cross-functional teams to determine project scope, campaign objectives, strategy, deliverable requirements and metrics
  • Oversee all performance reporting for assigned clients and responsible for analysis/recommendations to clients based on that reporting
  • Oversee digital project flow, inclusive of website builds and digital campaign element implementation
  • Generate new ideas/new ways to upsell clients, as appropriate
  • Contribute to staff training on all digital platforms
  • Use coding skills to make website updates/develop landing pages/email templates, as needed
  • Assist with proposal development, as needed
  • Assist in new business pitches, as needed
  • Prepare team for presentations and organizes materials; assist with client presentations as needed
  • Stay abreast of industry standards and legal requirements for digital industry standards
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital or business
  • Minimum of 4 years’ relevant work experience specific to digital campaigns, digital advertising and website management
  • Deep knowledge of multiple social media platform performance and targeting technologies
  • Expert in Google Analytics and third-party performance tracking
  • Expert in behavior targeting, audience building and social media targeting
  • Extensive understanding of website performance, enhancements and SEO, specific to how to help clients leverage best practices with our complete suite of services for success
  • Experience with third-party applications for reporting, management and implementation
  • Experience overseeing website project management for builds, expansions and site management
  • Experience with WordPress and understanding of the backend admin/content management system
  • Comprehensive understanding and proven experience managing behavior targeting campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Experience with MailChimp, Constant Contact and other third-party email marketing systems
  • Proven track record conducting A/B testing, robust performance monitoring and oversight of digitally successful creative elements
  • Ability to drive and prioritize multiple digital campaign initiatives to include email, print, mobile apps, events, video, online banners, websites,
  • Proven track record in digital project management
  • Demonstrated ability to nurture client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and grow multiple accounts
  • Experience with content updates in platforms such as (but not limited to) Magento, WordPress,
  • Must possess the ability to be solution -oriented and work under minimal supervision
  • Proficient in MS office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage high stress situations; remain calm under pressure
