Job Description
Seeking an experienced engineer to engage with the manufacturing team and improve processes!
If you are an energetic and committed engineer who enjoys working cooperatively with your production team to improve designs, make products on time, and assess root cause, then you should be successful at Oakworks. The manufacturing engineer improves and guides the manufacturing process and is responsible for improvements to quality, cost, and design. The ideal candidate will engage with production employees to resolve production issues, enhance designs, and repair or design jigs and fixtures. Daily work includes supporting the design control process, approving design specifications and validation protocols, facilitating design reviews, and ensuring the design history file and bill of materials are updated. Responsibilities include participating in CAPA activities and continuous improvement projects. If you enjoy working with diverse product lines, multiple processes (metal, welding, mill, assembly, packaging) and different manufacturing materials (metal, plywood, hard and soft wood, plastic) then Oakworks will have the variety to keep you engaged.
Hours and Status:
The normal schedule is Monday through Friday with a typical start time of 6:30am to 3:00pm, with some flexibility on start and end time. This is a full time, benefits eligible position.
