Description
Join us for the October WBCO Luncheon as we spotlight women’s roles within the growing STEM Industries in YoCo.
With us will be 3 inspiring leaders in the Manufacturing (from craft beers to motorcycles) and Technology sectors to speak to how they came to their current roles, the importance of mentorship, and the countless opportunities within the industry. Our panelists:
Dee Dee Fultz holds the position of General Manager of Harley-Davidson’s York Vehicle Assembly Operations in York, PA. She has been recognized by numerous organizations as one of the top women in manufacturing. Two of Dee Dee’s most recent awards include an award from Automotive News for being identified as one of the Top 100 Women in the Automotive Industry, and most recently a Lifetime Achievement Award by Women of Color, STEM. Dee Dee is a passionate advocate for the recruitment of women in manufacturing, and she continues to work on promoting STEM, starting at the grade school level.
Sandy Bialek, CEO & Owner of Fat Bat Brewing Co, joins us from her female-owned, locally sourced, and crafted brewery in Hanover, PA. After raising three kids then taking on the corporate world, Sandy decided to pursue her lifelong dream of starting a local, female-owned business. Sandy believes in the power of beer to encourage social interaction. Her mission is to promote engagement by creating the best atmosphere for sharing great beer with friends, neighbors, and visitors, while supporting revitalization of the town.
Sara Parrish is a lifelong resident of Central Pennsylvania who has built both a family and a career as a financial services executive while staying close to her roots. Sara currently serves as President of CampusDoor in York, Pennsylvania. In her role, Sara is responsible for the growth and performance of the financial technology company, which has processed more than $26 billion in private student loan requests. Clients include leading banks, non-bank mortgage lenders, credit unions, colleges, and universities. CampusDoor enables lenders to create relationships with young borrowers’ years before their next major loan- a mortgage- by helping to fulfill their dream of a college education.
