Dressing Up Demand! Sparrow Place will display a bold message with an interactive street event in Continental Square during Give Local York and First Friday, May 3rd, from 5-9pm. Join us as we use a ‘life-size’ installation to raise awareness of sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. Whether they are forced or coerced,this practice of modern slavery is happening in the City and Counties of York. We hope that by making victims easier to ‘see’, our community will acknowledge this true and violent reality.
