A child’s brain is most flexible during the first five years of life and is built prior to them stepping foot into a formal learning environment. Early learning opportunities set the groundwork for long-term success in life, and research has shown that the benefits are sustained over time and can help break the intergenerational cycle of poverty.
Prior to joining PPC, Kari served in various positions in former Governor Tom Corbett’s administration, including Legislative Director for the Pennsylvania Insurance Department, Deputy Secretary for Legislative Affairs in the governor’s office, and Deputy Chief of Staff.
