Description
**CANCELLED** The March Economics Club Breakfast has been cancelled in accordance with recommendations from our country's leading health organizations regarding COVID-19 Coronavirus.
Join us for our March Economics Club breakfast as we celebrate Women’s History Month with a panel discussion on a gender balanced workforce. Over the last 60 years, the share women in the U.S. labor force increased from 33 percent to nearly half of all workers. While the percentage of women in some professions, and the equalization of pay rates, have been lagging, a dynamic shift may be on the horizon.
Our panel features four dynamic women whose accomplishments and leadership are unparalleled in their respective fields. They will share experiences from their own careers, talk about how the workforce has changed since the new millennium, and discuss trending data of women attaining higher education and expanding into new professions.
Featured Speakers:
Victoria Connor, York County Bar Association and York County Bar Foundation
Beverly Mackereth, Mackereth Consulting and Penn State York Executive in Residence
