DESCRIPTION:This Business Series Workshop has been postponed. Be sure to check back soon for the rescheduled date. \n\n\n\nJoin us virtually on January 20 from 8:30 - 9:30 am for the first Business Series Workshop of 2021! Get your year started off right with an overview of how you can plan your business strategies for the post-COVID pivot. \n\n\n\nOver the past year\, businesses in our community have changed their business models and marketing strategies to adapt to a world of restrictions due to COVID. At our first Business Series Workshop of the season\, we will hear from Julie Fitzpatrick\, Executive Director of Pennsylvania Downtown Center (PDC)\, on how businesses can leverage the changes in consumer habits to ensure continued success. \n\n\n\nJulie will discuss what new COVID-influenced practices you may want to consider in the new year. We'll also hear about how destination travel and nature based travel will impact business in 2021 and beyond\; and how you can adapt your marketing business strategies to capitalize on this sector of business. \n\n\n\nJulie has been with PDC since 2005 and was appointed as the Executive Director in July 2019. She has been involved with a variety of projects in communities all over the commonwealth\, including community visioning\, developing regional downtown revitalization strategies\, establishing tourism infrastructure plans\, and developing business improvement district plans and other strategic planning activities. She also provides board and committee education and technical assistance to designated DCED Keystone Communities Main Street and Elm Street programs\, as well as to non-designated communities.\n\n\n\nWe hope you'll join us for this Business Series Workshop.
