DESCRIPTION:JA programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it\, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust\, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace.  Students put these lessons into action and learn the value of contributing to their communities. \n\n\n\nREAL Life is a day long program designed for students in 11th or 12th grade. The program is held at a local high school. It consists of a series of activities intended to help students gain an appreciation for good financial decision-making. The goal of REAL Life is to inspire students to appreciate the key issues surrounding personal finance and the importance of making sound financial decisions.\n\n\n\nYou will be assigned to either Budget Builder\, where you will work with groups of students to develop a personal budget based on their assigned unique life situation or assigned to financial activities.  The financial activities include Insurance Jeopardy\, The Price is Wrong\, REAL Life game and Financial games.\n\n\n\nWe provide training materials in advance\, as well as training the morning of the event.  A light breakfast and lunch are provided by the school.
