DESCRIPTION:Join us for our April Economics Club series virtual event as we discuss the "Economic Impact of Childcare and our Workforce". Kendra Aucker\, president and CEO of Evangelical Community Hospital\; Andrea Heberlein\, executive director of the Pennsylvania Early Learning Investment Commission\; and Robert Maida\, managing director of state and local tax practice in the KPMG Pittsburgh office\, will join the York County Economic Alliance to talk about how access to childcare affects employers and employees\, the economic impact of barriers to childcare\, and employer solutions such as the childcare tax credit program.\n\n \n\nFollowing the program will be a Q&A session open to all attendees.\n\n\n\nABOUT THE PRESENTERS\n\n\n\nKendra A. Aucker\n\nPresident and CEO @Evangelical Community Hospital\n\nKendra Aucker was appointed president and CEO of Evangelical Community Hospital in July 2015 after serving as executive vice president and COO. As part of Evangelical Community Hospital's senior leadership team since 1990 and worked in marketing\, physician practice management\, operations\, and executive leadership. Additionally\, she is a licensed agent through the Insurance Department of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania\, a healthcare fellow of the Healthcare Advisory Board\, and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Medical Group Management Association.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAndrea L. Heberlein\n\nExecutive Director @The Pennsylvania Early Learning Investment Commission\n\nAndrea Heberlein was appointed executive director of The Pennsylvania Early Learning Investment Commission in 2019. Before joining the Pennsylvania Early Learning Investment Commission\, she served as the vice president of strategic impact for United Way of Lancaster County.
